Finally, the very first drink of the year by the Dies and Drinks Committee! It was held on the 23rd of October and everyone was dressed in the theme Halloween. Some were spookier than the other and personally I think the Board with their Teletubbies outfit were the creepiest of them all…!! The location was transformed into a Halloween scene with multiple spider webs, pumpkin lanterns, our dear friend Harry the skeleton and more. The night was filled with laughter and fun. Furthermore, this was also the day that the Health Business Week Committee revealed their theme of 2020. This year’s Health Business week is all about ‘CARE AND CONNECT’ and it will take place from 10th till the 20th of February. After this exciting news everyone shared a drink and made it an unforgettable night.

Following this successful drink, the Events Committee organised a lasergame and dinner night. This event was sold out immediately! Together with the members of Share we had an intense battle of the fittest inside the lasergame hall. As former board member Martijn warned: he guaranteed he’d win this game, because he plays a lot of video games (and thus had a lot of practice). Well…. He was right and had the highest score. I hoped he wasn’t that good ;). After lasergaming, we all went to Stalles and enjoyed a lovely dinner that consist of moussaka or a vegetarian lasagne.

To conclude, both the first drink of the Dies and Drinks Commmitee and the first event of the Events Committee were wonderful and I’m looking forward to the other activities that will take place!
