SHARE’s skitrip to Austria

From the 24st till the 29th of January our association went on the annual ski trip for 6 days in Fügen. 43 members joined this wonderful trip. Our trip started at bus station Capelse Brug. Here the group assembled and headed off towards Austria. After a long journey we arrived at our accommodation; a local Gasthof. When everybody changed their outfits in order to resist the cold weather conditions, the group could finally hit the slopes. The more experienced members could hit the slopes on their own while beginners got their first ski lessons under guidance of a ski instructor. An essential part of a ski trip is of course the après-ski; after the last decent the whole group assembled at local bars to share some drinks with each other. Afterwards we returned to the Gasthof to have dinner. During the evenings there was the opportunity to enjoy several games in the lobby or to rest in your own room. Really close to our accommodation happened to be a club, which the majority of our group would spend their time in at nights.

The third day we went to a different location; Mayrhofen. The true daredevils could get their adrenaline kicks by ascending the Harakiri; the steepest slope of Austria. On the last day of our stay we went tobogganing with the entire group. This was a fun way to ascend the slopes instead of skiing or snowboarding. This fun times and the enthusiasm of the group made this Ski Trip a big success which will surely be remembered by the participants.
